Thermally induced distortions of the temporal phase of optical pulses in phosphorous-doped silica fibers
Thermally induced distortions of the temporal phase of optical pulses in phosphorous-doped silica fibers
We study the phase distortion induced in optical pulses due to thermal effects in Sm-doped phospho-silica fibers. We experimentally measure the phase change interferometrically, and find it to agree well with theory.
