Tm3+:KY(WO4)2 laser in-band pumped by a Tm fiber laser
Efficient operation of a Tm3+:KY(WO4)2 laser in-band pumped by a Tm:fiber laser is reported. 1.45 W of output was obtained with a slope efficiency of 63%. A tuning range of 1860-2020 nm was also achieved.
