High power single-frequency continuous-wave and pulsed Nd:YVO4 master oscillator power amplifier
An efficient single-frequency Nd:YVO4 master-oscillator power-amplifier, which produces 79W of near-diffraction-limited continuous-wave output is described. In pulsed mode, pulses of peak power ~2kW and duration ~1ms were obtained at a repetition frequency of 11kHz.
