Dataset for L. Black et al., "Tailoring Second Harmonic Generation in single L-shaped plasmonic nanoantennas from the capacitive to conductive coupling regime" Data have been organised in subfolders corresponding to figure numbers. In addition, a folder with raw data corresponding to E-fields and nonlinear polarization extracted from COMSOL simulations is provided. This data was used to obtain the theoretical SHG intensities and polarizations. .OPJ and .OGG files: Origin 9.0 projects (Originlabs) .m files: Matlab scripts .txt and .dat files: Ascii format raw data All files and folders have been zipped into a single archive file. Notes: Fig2 Data files consist of columns of data with headers # L, G, min, max, angle_min, angle_max, ratio_min_max, angle_totdip, TOT I L: Length of antenna arm G: Gap size parameter (real gap equals (G-22.3)*sqrt(2)) min: Minimum of SHG intensity vs output polarization max:Maximum of SHG intensity vs output polarization angle_min: Polarization angle of minimum SHG intensity angle_max:Polarization angle of maximum SHG intensity ratio_min_max: SHG emission ratio angle_totdip: Polarization angle of the total dipole moment TOT I: total (unpolarized) SHG intensity Fig11_12_13 Datasets include fundamental E-fields and evaluated SHG versus emission polarization in folders \Bonding_alldata\ \Antibonding_alldata\ \Ex_alldata\ Files LShape_L..._G.._tot. consists of the following 14 columns: x,y,z, Re(Ex), Re(Ey), Re(Ez), Im(Ex), Im(Ey), Im(Ez), nx,ny,nz, (h*1.e9), (meshvol*1e18) where x,y,z are the 3D coordinates, Re(..) and Im(..) the real and imaginary components of the vector component, nx,ny,nz the components of the surface normal vector, h the 1D mesh size and meshvol the 2D mesh surface area extracted from COMSOL. Meshvol is the effective area for each vector to be used in surface integrations and calculation of effective energy.
