Schlieren imaging of inverted domains in congruent lithium niobate
We report Schlieren imaging of inverted domains in congruent LiNbO3. High contrast imaging is possible by taking advantage of the residual refractive index discontinuity at domain boundaries which is present even after prolonged thermal annealing.
