Ytterbium-doped mixed sesquioxides grown by pulsed laser deposition
Growth of ytterbium-doped mixed sesquioxide thin-films via pulsed
laser deposition is reported. Optical and physical properties are characterised,
and prospects are discussed for ultra-short-pulse waveguide
amplifiers and lasers.
