Direct UV written waveguides in phosphogermanate planar glass layers fabricated via flame hydrolysis deposition
Direct UV written waveguides in phosphogermanate planar glass layers fabricated via flame hydrolysis deposition
This work reports the first demonstration of phosphogermanate deposited planar layers which have been used to produce channel waveguides and Bragg gratings via direct UV writing. We demonstrate single mode and low-loss operation at 1550nm.
