Spatially controlled doping of silver in chalcogenide glass by thermal, photo and electron beam effects
Controlled doping of silver through bulk Gallium-Lanthanum-Sulphide based glass is demonstrated using heat, light and electrons. Heat readily incorporates silver from the surface into bulk glass, while an electron beam selectively relocates the silver ions.
