Development of early warning information systems
Modern information technology developments provide the necessary foundation for the establishment of infectious disease surveillance and early warning systems. Multiple diseases information systems provide more comprehensive and reliable information sources for early warnings. This chapter introduces methods of the development and construction of early warning of infectious diseases, including the fundamental principles of investigation, system design, system framework and essential functions, system implementation, and system evaluation.
