Incoming shear and turbulence properties and profiles from active grid experiments
This data goes together with the paper titled "Tailoring incoming shear and turbulence profiles for lab-scale wind turbines" that is published in Wind Energy (DOI: 10.1002/we.2138). The data set provides detailed data in .mat format of the mean and fluctuation profiles taken for different operating conditions of the active grid, which tailors the incoming profiles. The data presented also includes information on flow uniformity and homogeneity as well as spectra to show the distribution of energy across different scales.
