This folder contains all data for the publication titled "Investigation of microvascular morphological measures for skeletal muscle tissue oxygenation by image-based modelling in 3D". The folder "modelling_test_cube" contains the data necessary to run the OpenFOAM case of muscle oxygenation, e.g., the respective STL meshes of musccle and RBCs, as well as the results from the test cube used for computing the influence of reduction of RBCs by 2% and 10%, respectively. The results can be found in the VTK folder of the respective case folder. The analysis of this models is saved in the Excel sheet "test_cube_measurements". The data from histological counts performed by Katy Gould for comparison is shown in the Excel file "Histology_data_capillarity_KGould". The results from image analysis of the morphological measures can be found in the Excel file "Results_capillarization". The image data of the fibre counts (with markings used for counting) is in the folder "Slices_fibre_counts". The folder "RBC_counting" contains matched histological and SR CT images which were used by the observer to count the difference between observed RBCs. The results of the counting are kept in the Excel file "Difference_RBC_uCT". More datasets underlying the image analysis of the larger cubic volumes of muscle for the five muscles investigated are available on request.
