Direct bonding CVD-grown diamond to ZnSe and sapphire
We report plasma-assisted direct bonding of CVD-grown diamond to ZnSe and sapphire. Bond survival is demonstrated from -40 to 80 degreesC, while localized heating of the diamond/ZnSe bond showed exceptional heatspreading performance.
