Dataset relates to the paper 'Single-Pulse Ablation of Multi-Depth Structures via Spatially Filtered Binary Intensity Masks' published in Applied Optics, authors: Daniel J Heath, James A Grant-Jacob, Robert W Eason and Ben Mills

Included are the Matlab function used to process a grayscale image into a binary image suitable for use with the technique described in the paper, original .tif files of the figures used in the paper, ascii files of profilometer scans and the jpg/bmp files recorded directly from the profilometer when analysing the samples created for the paper.
