Timing jitter tolerant all-optical TDM data demultiplexing at 80Gbit/s using fiber Bragg grating based rectangular pulse switching technology
We demonstrate the use of fiber Bragg grating based pulse-shaping technology for timing-jitter tolerant data demultiplexing in an 80 Gbit/s OTDM system. Error-free demultiplexing operation with ~6 ps jitter-tolerance is achieved, showing a 2 dB power-penalty improvement compared to demultiplexing without the grating.

Abstract
