Dataset of skin friction-pressure results
Dataset of skin friction-pressure results
Results data relating the testing conditions ("E_SC" - stratum corneum's Youngs modulus, "mu_l" - indenter radius, "R*" - local coefficient of friction and "dy" - distance between the mean surface of the skin and the nearest point of the asperity), with the calculated global coefficient of friction "mu_g", the measured normal component of the average traction vector "fN" and equivalent pressure "P*". These results were used to generate figures 4 and 5 of the manuscript "Skin friction under pressure. The role of micromechanics." (Leyva Mendivil et al 2017 Surf. Topogr.: Metrol. Prop.)

Abstract
