High quality 1.3ps 10GHz soliton pulse source employing dispersion decreasing fiber based Raman amplifier
We demonstrate a novel pulse compression scheme using DDF adiabatic compression process assisted by distributed Raman gain. Both wavelength tunability of about 30 nm and pulse-duration tunability from 1 to 5 ps are also demonstrated.
