The following datasets are included: 1) Tabulated data for pore and carbides in MD2 alloy dogbone specimens obtained from the SPring-8 x-ray CT dataset. (Tabulated_data_Pore_Carbide_MD2.xlsx) 2) Modelling data comprising of an Abaqus .inp data file containing the meshed X-ray CT data (MD2-12-2um-simple.inp) and Abaqus .obd data from the processed model (MD2-12-2um-simple.obd). 3) Tabulated data of stress concentrations surrounding surface pores. (MD2-surf-pores-stress-concentration.xlsx) 4) Raw x-ray CT data conducted at the University of Southampton muVIS imaging centre of an MD2 dogbone system containing a crack used for comparison with SEM DIC study and FE modelling.
