High-peak-power, picosecond, mid-infrared optical parametric generator and amplifier pumped by Tm:fiber laser
A Tm:fiber laser pumped OP:GaAs optical parametric generator generates midinfrared (2550-8300 nm) pulses with 3 kW of peak power. With a seed injection, a maximum peak power up to 13.3 kW is obtained from the optical parametric amplifier.
