Variable environmental index spectroscopy in metamaterials
Variable environmental index spectroscopy in metamaterials
By immersing metamaterial nanostructures into liquids with different refractive indices, we obtain valuable information on role of different multipoles in their electromagnetic response. Applications to detection of anapole modes are discussed.
