This is a dataset supporting the publication: "A Hexagonal Pseudo-Polar FFT for Formation-Flying Interferometric Radiometry" Submitted to the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Letters. In the publication, this dataset is used to produce Figures 4 and 6, and part of the results presented in Table I. This dataset is generated in Matlab R2016a and requires this or later versions of Matlab to read. The files inputX_XXXX_apriori.mat contain the output of the first six PPFFT iterations for input image X, taking into account a priori information. input1_rect_apriori.mat Applies for input image 1 with the conventional rectangular PPFFT. input1_hex_apriori.mat Applies for input image 1 with the proposed hexagonal PPFFT. input2_rect_apriori.mat Applies for input image 2 with the conventional rectangular PPFFT. input2_hex_apriori.mat Applies for input image 2 with the proposed hexagonal PPFFT. input3_rect_apriori.mat Applies for input image 3 with the conventional rectangular PPFFT. input3_hex_apriori.mat Applies for input image 3 with the proposed hexagonal PPFFT. The files TrefX_apriori.mat contain the reference brightness temperature maps for image X, taking into account a priori information. The brightness temperature error map plotted in Figure 6 is the difference between this map and the output maps listed above. Tref1_apriori.mat Contains the reference brightness temperature map for Input 1. Tref2_apriori.mat Contains the reference brightness temperature map for Input 2. Tref3_apriori.mat Contains the reference brightness temperature map for Input 3.
