Data is organised in a directory tree, each figure has its own directory within which further subdirectories may exist, one for each subfigure. 
For example:

Data corresponding to 'Figure 2-b' would lie in the directory './fig-2/fig-2-b/'

All data is represented as X-Y values in ',SPACE' delimited '.dat' files. Where a figure contains multiple datasets, each is contained within its own data file.
