Direct extrusion of suspended-core polymer optical fibers from 3D printers
Direct extrusion of suspended-core polymer optical fibers from 3D printers
We demonstrate the single-step manufacturing of a microstructured polymer optical fiber (MPOF) by extruding and directly drawing the polymer from a structured 3D printer nozzle.
