AI3SD Launch Report 2019
Artificial Intelligence and Augmented Intelligence for Automated Investigations for Scientific Discovery Network+ (AI3SD) launched at the Society of Chemical Industry in London on 5th December 2018 with a large gathering of experts from academia, industry and government. The Network+, which is funded by EPSRC and hosted by the University of Southampton, aims to bring together science and technology researchers to show how cutting-edge artificial and augmented intelligence technologies can be used to push the boundaries of scientific discovery. The launch event opened the three-year investigation and featured a series of keynote talks that highlighted some of the opportunities and challenges of artificial intelligence (AI) in these areas.
