High spatial density 6-mode 7-core multicore L-band fiber amplifier
We present high spatial density SDM amplifier (i.e. 6-mode, 7-core multicore fiber amplifier) supporting 42 spatial channels. More than 17 dB average gain is obtained in the L-band with less than 5.4 dB differential modal gain.
