Picosecond Yb-doped alumino-phospho-silicate fiber MOPA with >35kW peak power

We report a ps-MOPA using an efficient ytterbium-doped Al-P-SiO 2 fiber fabricated by MCVD solution-doping process, generating 35kW peak-power pulses at 1035nm with repetition-rate 1.47MHz and average power 9.1W. The optical conversion efficiency was 76%.

Abstract
