Funding culture/cultures of funding
Questions of who funds arts and culture and why continue to feature prominently on government, policy and arts organization and practitioner agendas. This talk will share ongoing efforts to a develop a “cultures of funding” analytical framework. This approach includes the analysis of government policy, interviews and dialogue with those working in arts and cultural sectors, and interface analysis of digital platforms used for fundraising. This talk will include some emerging findings and open up discussion exploring the work of funding culture.
