READ ME File For Getting Active Data (Disengagement Research) Dataset DOI: 10.5258/SOTON/D0966 ReadMe Author: Anna Weston, University of Southampton ORCID ID 0000-0003-1675-0466 This dataset supports the thesis entitled: The DisENGAGE Framework: Supporting the Examination of Disengagement from Health-Based Digital Behaviour Change Interventions AWARDED BY: University of Southampton DATE OF AWARD: June 2019 This data can be requested using http://library.soton.ac.uk/datarequest. The data will only be made available once evidence has been confirmed that the requester is a bona fide researcher with ethics approval to carry out further research under the same conditions. Requesters should supply evidence of ethics approval and contact details for the organisation and ethics committee to enable verification DESCRIPTION OF THE DATA This dataset contains 3 zipped files: 1. Getting Active Stage 1 Think-aloud Transcripts (Disengagement Research) This zip file contains 6 think-aloud transcripts. These participants were using the Getting Active intervention and were asked to use it as naturally as possible. These interviews occurred between September 2016 and November 2016. 2. Getting Active Stage 2 Retrospective Interview Transcripts (Disengagement Research) This zip file contains 13 interview transcripts. The participants were interviewed after using the Getting Active intervention for a minimum of 2 weeks. These interviews took place between January 2017 and October 2017. 3. Getting Active Stage 2 Usage Data (Disengagement Research) This zip file contains 6 files. These are the usage logs (for the 13 stage 2 participants) generated by the LifeGuide software. Each file contains slightly different data points. For more details about LifeGuide and the different data exports please see the linked PhD thesis (Chapter 7.3 p108) 1) Page Durations 2) Page Flow_Trim 3) Session Details 4) User Data 5) User Numbers of Testers 6) pagenames In addition to the normal data exports there are two additional files "User Numbers of Testers" which lists the user numbers used by the researchers on the project. These data lines should be removed before using the data. Finally "pagenames" is an explanation of the page titles for each of the sections of the intervention. For example, any page starting with the code s1 would have been in the quiz section of the intervention. Date of data collection: September 2016 to October 2017.
