For any queries please contact asv104@soton.ac.uk. The dataset contains: 1. Tab 1 "Habitat_data". The raw habitat data collected on a 500m reach of the River Lambourn. Data collected include the depth, veloicty, dominant substrate type and percent instream over provided by macrophytes at point measurments throughout the reach. THe location of each point is provided as Easting / Northing or in relation to features of known location. Surveys were conducted in February 2011, August 2011 and March 2019. 2. Tab 2 "Fish_denisty". The density of fish (per m^2) in each (approx 20m) electric-fishing reach throughout the study site on the River Lambourn. Also given is the area, depth, velocity, macrophyte cover and temperature for each electric-fishing reach. 3. Tab 3 "Movement_tracking_raw_data". The raw data, per fish (radio tag number), for trout whose position was estimated using radio tracking, and used to calulate distance moved and home range metrics. 4. Tab 4 "Electric-fishing_raw_data". The raw data on fish length, mass, PIT/radio tag number and location caught during four electric-fishing surveys on the River Lambourn, UK. Date of data collection: ADD IN COLLECTION DATES Information about geographic location of data collection: River Lambourn, Berkshire, UK (51.445542, -1.382947).
