AWARDED BY: University of Southampton
DATE OF AWARD: 2019

DESCRIPTION OF THE DATA
Experimental data that includes maximum size, flow conditions, drag coefficient from 732 experiments carried out in a hydraulic flume. The data is sub-divided into experimental groups as outlined in the thesis, in which the title of each sheet refers to the corresponding experimental group.
For all experimental groups, each row corresponds to a flow condition tested.
All variables measured or computed are clearly stated in the headers with correspoinding symbols in the thesis.

This dataset contains:
-Flow variables (e.g. discharge, velocity, water depth)
-Individual debris variables (e.g. length, diameter)
-Pier size (i.e. diameter/width)
-Debris size variables (i.e. width W, height H, length K)
-Coefficient of drag
-Computed dimensionless variables (e.g. debris Froude number)
