This file contains the experimental data and a sample script in Matlab that allows the reproduction of the figures in: Luis Blay Esteban, John Shrimpton and Bharath Ganapathisubramani Disks settling in turbulence. Journal of Fluid Mechanics doi:10.1017/jfm.2019.922 The data set contains the [x,y,z] coordinates of a set of particles trajectories descending in quiescent flow and under turbulence effects. It also contains the frequency content of the trajectories and the tilt angle of the particle for a given trajectory. The script loads all the variables first. Then, the following subsections generate sample figures as in the original manuscript. Specific details can be found in each subsection. Note that to obtain velocity information the framerate of the cameras (and therefore the data points) were at 60fps.
