The transmission of continuous cultural traits in endogenous social networks
The transmission of continuous cultural traits in endogenous social networks
Continuous cultural traits are transmitted across generations in a network which is under the control of parents. We derive optimal network choices, characterize the long-run outcome, and show that high socialization incentives lead to slow convergence of cultural traits.
