Mode-locked laser in modeless cavity

Mode-locked laser in modeless cavity
Mode-locked laser in modeless cavity
A passively mode-locked erbium-doped fiber laser incorporates an intra-cavity electrooptic phase modulator. Stable soliton mode-locking was achieved even when the phase modulator was driven with noise to render the cavity modeless.
