Dissipativity and transformed systems
We show the existence of a simple relation between the state of a continuous-time system, and its derivative, and the state of the transformed system in an orthonormal basis. We use such relation to prove that if the continuous-time system is dissipative, then the transformed one is also dissipative.

Abstract

We show the existence of a simple relation between the state of a continuous-time system, and its derivative, and the state of the transformed system in an orthonormal basis. We use such relation to prove that if the continuous-time system is dissipative, then the transformed one is also dissipative.
