Vis-NIR photoconducting devices based on Ni-complexes of mono-substituted 1,2-dithiolene ligands
Vis-NIR photoconducting devices based on Ni-complexes of mono-substituted 1,2-dithiolene ligands
Bis(1,2-dithiolene) complexes belonging to the class [Ni(Ar,H-edt)2]x– [Ar,H-edt2– = arylethylene-1,2-dithiolate; Ar = Ph, (1x–), Naph (2x–); x = 0, 1] have emerged as new photo-conducting materials that allowed for the development of a prototype of photodetectors active in the Vis–NIR region, showing in some cases quantum efficiencies orders of magnitude higher than those reported for different 1,2-dithiolene systems.
