Precision CO2 laser processing of optical fibres for rapid contamination free device fabrication

Precision CO2 laser processing of optical fibres for rapid contamination free device fabrication
Precision CO2 laser processing of optical fibres for rapid contamination free device fabrication
A rapid, contamination free and highly precise optical fibre processing technique is presented. Based on CO2 laser processing, this technique enables precision fibre cleaving, near arbitrary end face processing and fabrication of high power devices.
