READ ME File For 'Dataset for: Microphone array processing for sparse equivalent source representations of tyre noise' Dataset DOI: 10.5258/SOTON/D1477 ReadMe Author: Athanasios Papaioannou, University of Southampton https://orcid.org/0000-0003-1682-1412 This dataset supports the thesis entitled Microphone array processing for sparse equivalent source representations of tyre nois AWARDED BY: University of Southampton DATE OF AWARD: 2020 DESCRIPTION OF THE DATA The data in this file are the raw and post-processed measured data which form the basis of the PhD thesis and were obtained by performing a number of measurements at the Southampton University Signal Processing and Control Lab, the semi-anechoic chamber in Applus IDIADA, Barcelona, Spain and the anechoic chamber in Siemens Digital Industries Software, Leuven, Belgium. To view and use the data, you will need the Matlab Software. This dataset contains: 1) A rar file with the post-processed volume velocity and force data measured for an elastic tyre at the Southampton University Signal Processing and Control Lab, as presented in Chapter 2 of the thesis. 2) A folder with the raw and post-processed tyre pressure and FRFs measured at 50 and 100 km/h at the semi-anechoic chamber in Applus IDIADA, as presented in Chapters 3 and 4 of the thesis. 3) A folder with the raw and post-processed tyre and gearbox pressure and FRFs measured for accelerations of 1 and 2 m/s^2 at the semi-anechoic chamber in Siemens, as presented in Chapter 5 of the thesis. 4) The readme file. Date of data collection: 1) 20/06/2018, 2) 03 - 08/04/2019, 3) 05 - 10/02/2020.
