Pressure in As-drawn hollow core fibers

Pressure in As-drawn hollow core fibers
Pressure in As-drawn hollow core fibers
The pressure inside a hollow core fiber immediately post-fabrication is studied by monitoring changes in gas concentration using absorption and Raman spectroscopy. Simulated gas flow dynamics show that this pressure is significantly below atmospheric pressure.
