Scaling effect and optimization of SOI dual-waveguide optical trapping

Scaling effect and optimization of SOI dual-waveguide optical trapping
Scaling effect and optimization of SOI dual-waveguide optical trapping
A numerical model of dual-waveguide optical trap showed that the optimal waveguide thickness to achieve the most extensive optical trapping ability generally increases with the gap distance, along with periodic features due to the interference-effect. This optimal waveguide thickness also shows scaling effects over wavelength.

Abstract

A numerical model of dual-waveguide optical trap showed that the optimal waveguide thickness to achieve the most extensive optical trapping ability generally increases with the gap distance, along with periodic features due to the interference-effect. This optimal waveguide thickness also shows scaling effects over wavelength.
