The cells were injected at a seeding density of 3 million cells/ml on a flow-focussing PDMS chip that generated droplets of approximately 200 microns in diameter. The video is supplementary information as part of the PhD thesis 'Making Cartilage One Drop at a Time: Harnessing Droplet Microfluidics for Cartilage Tissue Engineering submitted for viva examination in September 2020 and recommended for award in December 2020 The video was captured using a software linked to a Phantom Miro eX2 high-speed camera attached to a CKX53 Olympus microscope. The sofware used was Phantom Camera Control.
