A festival of methods
The first issue of volume 36 of the International Journal of Research and Method in Education (IJRME) heralds some excellent papers and special issues and news of our influence in the academic world. It is not easy to please publisher, editors and authors all at once – but online first has managed this! Online first means swift turnaround times for submitting authors and easier for the editors to see the papers that are waiting for forthcoming issues. The editors were very pleased that IJRME had a high profile in the Research Methods Festival in Oxford, England last July. This was the festival of the National Centre for Research Methods funded by the Economic and Social Research Council in the UK. [... ...] This volume continues to demonstrate our commitment to quality, pluralism and criticality.
