Quantitative data was collected from approximately 260 students by the researcher using two scales: The Almost Perfect Scale-Revised (Slaney, Mobley, Trippi, Ashby, & Johnson, 1996; Slaney, Rice, Mobley, Trippi, & Ashby, 2001) was used to measure perfectionism and the Mental Health Continuum-Short Form (Keyes, 2005) was used to measure well-being and flourishing. A demographic questionnaire was also used to gather demographic information. Some academic attainment data was provided by schools. To further explore the quantitative results, qualitative data was collected by the researcher using semi-structured interviews with 11 participants identified as flourishing adaptive perfectionists in the quantitative analysis. When gaining consent from school head teachers, participants and their parents, the researcher stated that data would not be shared with individuals outside of the research team. Therefore, the researcher does not have permission to share this data. Data has been sent to the researcher's thesis supervisors (Dr Brettany Hartwell and Colin Woodcock, tutors on the Doctorate in Educational Psychology programme at the University of Southampton) via the university's SafeSend service so that it can be safely stored for the required retention period.
