Constituent analysis device
Constituent analysis device
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To analyze constituents at site without acquiring a sample in an underwater environment, such as especially deep ocean.SOLUTION: A constituent analysis device for analyzing constituents of a sample 10 in liquid includes: a pulse laser 21 for emitting long pulse laser beams having emission time of 200 to 400 nsec; an optical system head 60 that applies long pulse laser beams from the pulse laser to a sample and hence receives plasma emission light generated by the sample in liquid; constituent analysis means, such as a spectroscope 4, for performing spectral analysis of plasma emission light received by the optical system head; and fibers 13, 20 for transmitting long pulse laser beams from the pulse laser to the optical system head and transmitting plasma emission light from the optical system head to the constituent analysis means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6A
