Keeping their attention

Keeping their attention
Keeping their attention
As language tutors, we have spent the better part of the COVID-19 pandemic reading the online learning literature, having conversations with other educators, and trialling different methods and tools to engage with students and keep them engaged online. When learning from home, distractions during learning time can increase and motivation can decrease because of their new learning environment, lack of physical interaction and sense of isolation, therefore, engaging students can be challenging. In this workshop, you will have the chance to share your teaching experiences and find out about strategies and tools that you can use to enhance student engagement.
