Sampling for business price indices, with applications in Ireland
We make an initial review of sampling methods for business price indices, focusing on the Producer Price Index (PPI) where most developments have taken place. We use this as a basis to identify methods which are suitable for modernising the design of the PPI in Ireland. We expect to extend this work, and are interested in other experiences of principled methodologies for sampling in business price surveys.

Abstract
