DESCRIPTION OF THE DATA
Qualitative data were collected from observations and interviews with seven ELT teachers in the foreign language department, plus eight focus groups of students, semi-structured interviews with two administrators and four management staff. 
All of the transcripts were anonymised by using pseudonyms and redacting any identifying details. 

This dataset contains:

Transcripts of forty-one classroom observations and fourteen interviews with seven ELT teachers
Transcripts of eight focus group interviews with students
Transcripts of interviews with two administrators and four management staff 


Date of data collection: October 2018-March 2019
