Design of photonic nanojets on a silicon chip
Design of photonic nanojets on a silicon chip
CMOS compatible on-chip photonic nanojet (PNJ) has been designed. The design
consists of a silicon hemisphere on a silicon substrate. Simulations show subwavelength PNJs with potential applications in focal plane arrays and microfluidic devices.
