Lawson , D. Hewak, O. Muskens , I. Zeimpekis-Karakonstantinos TITLE:'Time-resolved reversible optical switching of the ultralow-loss phase change material Sb2Se3' JOURNAL: Journal Of Optics -------------------- DATA & FILE OVERVIEW -------------------- This dataset is split in two folders: 1) Data specific to plots in the aforementioned article. 2) All data related to the experiments performed as described in the aforementioned article. -------------------- 1)Raw_data: -------------------- This uses the file name convention of: SAMPLE MATERIAL > SAMPLE NUMBER > MAP TYPE> X COORD> Y COORD> CYCLE NUMBER> PULSE TYPE SAMPLE MATERIAL - Form of the deposited PCM layer SAMPLE NUMBER - Sample label number MAP TYPE - Amomap (for purpose of ident.) X COORD/ YCOORD - Physical coordinate in the pulse map CYCLE NUMBER- The pulse cycle number. Cycle consists of a single crystallisation pulse followed by an amorphisation pulse. PULSE TYPE - 'long'= crystallisation pulse, 'short' = amorphisation pulse -------------------- 2)Fig_data: -------------------- Concatenated dataset contains spreadsheets specific to data used in each corresponding figure. -------------------------- METHODOLOGICAL INFORMATION -------------------------- Description of methods used for collection/generation of data: Data is collected in accordance with the methods described in 'Time-resolved reversible optical switching of the ultralow-loss phase change material Sb2Se3'. People involved with sample collection, processing, analysis and/or submission: All data was collected was collected by Daniel Lawson, University of Southampton [0000-0002-9499-1954] -------------------------- DATA-SPECIFIC INFORMATION -------------------------- Data is stored in LabView measurement (.lvm) files containing tab delimited data, which may be opened in Notepad/Python/Excel etc. All .lvm files in the file directory "Data_25112021>Raw_data>Amorphisation_param_sweep" have the following attributes: Number of variables: 3 Number of cases/rows: 7000(for any files with convention 'short') , 101000(for any files with convention 'long') Col 1 = Time in (s) Col 2 = PD voltage (V) Col 3 = Pulse generator voltage (V) Col 2 corresponds to the photodiode response in response to an optical pulse (Col 3). Crystallisation pulse (corresponding to any files with convention 'long' were of fixed power and length 12mW and 1s). These pulses are used to pregenerate crystal domains across the array XY. These events are recorded in any file with convention 'long'. Amorphisation pulses are then used to generate amorphous regions and the optical reflectance is recorded. These pulses have powers equal to 3*(X COORD)+3 mW and pulse lengths equal to 50+50*(Y COORD) ns. -------------------------- Contact -------------------------- For any help with the dataset please email Daniel Lawson, University of Southampton [0000-0002-9499-1954] @ D.Lawson@soton.ac.uk
