This paper addresses a real case problem of the Fleet Sizing Problem of AHTS (Anchor Handling Tug and Supply) vessels. These vessels support drilling platforms and special vessels to run maintenance activities on offshore petroleum wells. The proposal has two modules: a module for optimisation with a binary programming model and a Monte Carlo simulation module to treat scheduling uncertainty.

Abstract
