DESCRIPTION OF THE DATA
Primary data was collected from May to October 2018 through semi-structured interviews with forty-five stakeholders in two coastal areas of England.
Case study areas: the North-west (Southport to Barrow-in-Furness) coast and the Central-south (Poole to Southampton) coast. 
Dataset of 45 interview transcriptions of key stakeholders regarding strengths and challenges in contemporary coastal flood risk management.


This dataset contains all transcribed interview data, excepting:
- 100% redacted responses, from participants who did not give permission for open access sharing of their transcript;
- Partially redacted responses, to remove personal information and data that may result in identification of the participant.
- Redaction of statements where participant did not give permission for open access of sharing of those statements.


Date of data collection: May-October 2018.

Information about geographic location of data collection: data collected in Hampshire, Dorset, Lancashire and Cumbria, UK.
