Swindle, Hywel Morgan TITLE: REAL-TIME MONITORING OF EPITHELIAL BARRIER FUNCTION BY IMPEDANCE SPECTROSCOPY IN A MICROFLUIDIC PLATFORM JOURNAL: Lab on a Chip -------------------- DATA & FILE OVERVIEW -------------------- This dataset contains: . 16HBE14o-.lif - Confocal imaging data of bronchial epithelial cells post apical stimulation. LAS X software (free) is required to open this file. . Conductivity_Data.zip - Zipped folder with conductivity data collected over the course of 12 hours with cell media. CellElectrodes.csv and MediaElectrodes.csv contains the modelled data for the cell and media electrodes respectively. Each file can be opened with Excel or any other software capable of reading .csv files. . Caco-2Data.zip - Zipped folder with Caco-2 cell growth data over the course of 5 days. CellElectrodes.csv and MediaElectrodes.csv contain the modelled data for the cell and media electrodes respectively. Electrical Impedance Spectra folder contains all the electrical impedance spectroscopy spectras collected throughout the experiment in .txt format for each chip and electrode pair. Both .txt and .csv file formats can be opened with any compatible software (excel, notepad, word). . 16HBE14o-_Data.zip - Zipped folder with 16HBE14o- cell growth and apical stimulation data. Inside the Growth Data folder, CellElectrodes.csv and MediaElectrodes.csv contain the modelled data for the cell and media electrodes respectively. Additionally, the Electrical Impedance Spectra folder contains all the electrical impedance spectroscopy spectras collected throughout the experiment in .txt format for each chip and electrode pair. Inside the ChallengeData folder there are 2 .csv files with normalised TER data for each of the stimulation experiments (TX-100, dsRNA and Steroid). Both .txt and .csv file formats can be opened with any compatible software (excel, notepad, word). -------------------------- METHODOLOGICAL INFORMATION -------------------------- Methods for processing the data: Submitted data was generated from impedance spectroscopy spectras. These spectras were fitted to a defined electrical circuit model, which is detailed in the publication.
